Long messages are sent in parts
A standard SMS holds up to 160 characters. Longer messages are split into parts of up to 153 characters, and each part is charged. An emoji or other special character switches the message to Unicode, where a part holds far fewer characters.
ExcelSend shows the number of parts and the total price in the preview, before you send.
How message parts workManaged in the ExcelSend portal
Your balance and billing, reply numbers and Sender ID applications are managed in the ExcelSend portal. If a prepaid balance is too low for a job, the add-in tells you before sending and links you to the portal to top up.
